SSFIV – Arcade Edition DLC Not Approved

Some rather unfortunate news from everybody’s favourite Capcom staff member Ono-san. Just the other week he was going to propose the idea of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition’s features as DLC for consoles. Keiji Inafune, Ono-san’s boss, gave approval but the higher-ups at Capcom USA rejected the idea. As to why, we have no idea, but Ono-san isn’t giving up just yet.

As well as trying to get the arcade edition DLC approved, he is working on a new project. Again, we have no idea what this will  be but expect a teaser image sometime soon, complete with that lovable Blanka figure of his. Here’s hoping that project isn’t Hyper Street Fighter IV …
